What different type of races are there?
- Full Challenge: 59 floors
- Team Challenge (4 runners in a group): 59 floors
- Horizon Challenge: 39 floors
- Fun Climb: 22 floors
What are the age requirements?
- The minimum age is 16 years old for the Full Challenge and Team Challenge.
- The minimum age is 12 years old for the Horizon Challenge.
- The minimum age is 10 years old for the Fun Climb.
Is this a good race for first-timers?
Although challenging, this race is achievable for most people and can be completed by walking as there is no cut-off time. However, we strongly recommend training for this event for first-timers or even if you are an experienced runner but have never done this particular race before.
How does the Team Challenge work?
Each team consists of 4 runners, which may have both male and female runners. Climbing from 2/F to the Penthouse, the team’s time will be calculated by the 3rd runner that crosses the line.
What is the weather in September like in Manila?
Generally, the temperature in September is between 26 to 31 degrees Celsius.
How far is Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila from Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL)?
Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) is located approximately 8km from Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes to 60 minutes by car depending on traffic conditions.

When is the registration deadline?
The registration deadline is 15 September 2019 or when the quota for registration is full.
How do I know if I am registered?
You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours (or 5 working days for on-site registration) of registering for the event. If you did not receive this email, contact us at [email protected].
What are your refund and transfer policies?
There will be strictly no refunds and no transfers (giving up your entry to another person).
BEFORE THE RACE
When and where can I pick up my Race Kit?
Dates & Times:
- 10:00am – 7:00pm, 21 September 2019 (Saturday)
Location: Kerry Sports Manila, Level 6, 3rd Avenue cor. 30th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Manila.
What do I need to bring with me in order to pick up my Race Kit?
You need to bring your Confirmation E-mail (digital copy accepted) and a photo ID.
I am under 18. Do I need parental consent?
Participants under 18 must submit the Parental Consent Form during Race Kit Collection.
Can I pick up my race kit on Race Day?
There is strictly no race day kit collection.
RACE DAY
What time does my wave start on race day?
Organisers will announce the race day schedule soon after registrations close. The first race is expected to start at 10:00am and finish by 1:30pm.
Where do I go when I arrive at Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila?
Please take the elevator up to Kerry Sports Manila at 6/F. The race village, stage, changing rooms and bag deposit will be stationed at The Arena (basketball court).
What can I do with my bag?
Bag Deposit facilities will be provided for participants at Kerry Sports Manila 6/F. If you do plan to use this service, please bring an inexpensive bag and leave your valuables at home. We will not be responsible for lost or missing items.
Where do I place my Race Bib?
Your race bib should be properly secured using safety pins and must be displayed on your front throughout the race.
Will the race start in waves or all at the same time?
Participants will be flagged off in waves of around 10 to 15 participants each, depending on the number of entries in each category.
Will there be water available?
Yes, there will be water available for participants at the start, on the course and at the finish area.
Will you have a Lost & Found in case I lose something on race day?
Yes, the Lost & Found will be at the Info Desk for items that are missing on race day.
Can my family and friends watch me race?
- Start Area: Yes, spectators will be allowed to watch the start in the non-restricted area of the 2/F start area and attend the Race Village at 6/F Kerry Sports Manila.
- Course & Finish Areas: Non-runners are not allowed to enter the course and finish areas.
AFTER THE RACE
Where is the Awards Ceremony held?
The Awards Ceremony will take place at 6/F, The Arena, Kerry Sports Manila.
Who receives awards?
- The top 3 finishers in each Full Challenge age group (Male and Female 16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+).
- The top 3 teams in the Team Challenge.
There are no prizes for the Horizon Challenge and the Fun Climbs.

Race photos will be available soon after race day on Kerry Sports Manila’s Facebook Page.
Where can I find my race results?
Provisional race results will be published on the event website within 24 hours from the end of the last race.
